You will know everything about “Y: Marshals”, the spin-off of “Yellowstone” focused on Kayce Dutton!
What will the series talk about?
Once the Ranch Dutton behind him, Kayce joins an elite unit of the US Marshals, combining his talents from Cowboy and Navy Seal to establish justice in Montana. His teammates and him must reconcile family, duty and the heavy psychological tribute that represents the fact of serving as a final line of defense in the war against violence carried out in the region.
Release date: When will the series available?
The broadcast is scheduled for the first half of 2026. The shooting of the series will start this summer.

On CBS in the United States, and probably on Paramount+ in France.
What characters from Yellowstone will be back?
The only actor whose presence was confirmed in the casting of the series is Luke Grimes. He will take up the role of Kayce Dutton, which he has already played throughout the five seasons of Yellowstone.
Most surprising: Kelsey Asbille, the interpreter of his wife Monica Dutton, has not yet been announced in the casting. Neither Brecken Merrill, who played their son Tate Dutton. It would be a shame if this spin-off calls on new performers to play these two emblematic roles.
Everything we know about the series
We do not yet know the links that this series will maintain with the other Yellowstone productions. But everything suggests that Y: Marshals will occupy a special place in the franchise, in particular because it will not be broadcast on Paramount but on the CBS public channel.
The creator of Yellowstone Taylor Sheridan will be credited as the producer of the series, but will not participate in writing the program. It will therefore be necessary to see if this change of showrunner will have no consequences on the narrative continuity between the original series and this spin-off.
What new Yellowstone series are also expected?
Three other Yellowstone derived series are planned. The first of them is The Madison, whose filming has already completed. This new series will not follow the story of members of the Dutton clan, but will follow another family whose matriarch is camped by Michelle Pfeiffer.
The most anticipated spin-off is undoubtedly the one who will be centered on the characters of Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser). The broadcast of the program is scheduled for this fall, and the shooting of the series should therefore not be long in starting.
Finally a third prequel – after 1883 and 1923 – will soon see the light of day. Taking place in 1944, this series will explore the youth of John Dutton II, the father of the character played by Kevin Costner in Yellowstone. No filming or casting date has been announced.
