Full cardboard for this British police series which is already at the top of the Top 10 on Netflix! And it is well left to become one of the surprises of the year …
Netflix has been delighting us with its British productions for a few years. And they often take us by surprise, as adolescence a few months ago, or more recently, the thriller the forgotten files.
Since its launch on May 29, the Scott Frank series (the lady's game) has conquered the subscribers, to the point of placing itself at the head of the weekly top 10 in France. It is currently the second most seen series in the world according to Flixpatrolbehind Sirens, but there is a good chance that it takes its place soon.
The forgotten files is the adaptation of the excellent thrillers of Jussi Adler-Olsen, published in the collection “The Investigations of Department V”. In this British version, we follow the inspector Carl Morck (Matthew Goode), a brilliant police officer, but not easy to live according to his colleagues. His sharp sarcasm has earned him many troubles in the Edinburgh police.
After a shooting that cost a young agent life and paralyzed his partner, he finds himself exiled in the basement and the only member of the Q department, a newly created unit to resolve unresolved cases. Carl begins to constitute a team of young people who have everything to prove. Will his unorthodox methods allow him to elucidate his first Cold Case…
A breathtaking investigation
The first season of forgotten files covers the novel Mercy And the disappearance, a few years earlier, of a young magistrate. Over the 9 episodes, Carl and the rest of his team will succeed in re-opening the investigation and discovering what happened.
The subscribers fell in love with this British production, which oscillates between dark drama and black humor. In addition to the cast, it was the quality of writing and the thrilling investigation that made them want to go to the last episode to have the resolution of the plot:
