The first complete overview of the Noah Hawley series on the Alien universe suggests a much more ambitious idea than what had been announced previously.
The first trailer for the Alien series: Noah Hawley Earth, Fargo showrunner, has finally fallen. These images (visible above) present the premise of the series: a crushed spacecraft leads the formidable xenomorph, the alien, on earth. The project has been announced since February 2019!
The return also of Predator?
But it also contains a rather intriguing surprise, as a character says: “This ship has taken five different forms of life from the darkest depths in the universe. Monsters … invasive species. Predators.“”
This revelation suggests the possibility that the series presents both the familiar creatures of the Alien universe and something new. In a part of the trailer, we also hear a click that looks a little like the creature of the Predator franchise, which has already crossed paths with the Alien franchise in the past. In any case, these images suggest the perspective of a set of various monsters.
What is Alien: Earth?
The official presentation: “In the year 2120, the earth is governed by five societies: Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic and Threshold. In this corporatist era, cyborgs (humans equipped with members and biological and artificial organs) and synthetic (humanoid robots with artificial intelligence) cohabite humans.
But everything changes the day when the young CEO of Prodigy Corporation is launching a revolutionary product, hybrids, humanoid robots with a human conscience whose prototype, Wendy (Sydney Chandler), marks a new stage in the race for immortality.
When Weyland-Yutani's spacecraft crashes on Prodigy City, Wendy and other hybrids discover mysterious, more terrifying life forms than everything we could imagine. “
