Expected for two years, the rest of one of the biggest successes of 2023 on Netflix finally arrives on the platform. Here are the first images and first information on season 2 of “My life with the Walter Boys”.
It was one of the biggest successes of 2023 on Netflix: a romantic fiction adapted from Ali Novak's novel by Melanie Halsall, which recounts the emancipation story of Jackie Howard (Nikki Rodriguez), a 15-year-old New York, forced to live with the Walter family in Colorado after the tragic death of his parents and his sister.
The return of a successful teen drama
In my life with the Walter Boys, the girl learns to integrate into the home of her mother's best friend, Katherine Walter (Sarah Fricerty), who has become her tutor, and her husband George (Marc Blucas), as well as their ten turbulent children.
And in the siblings, we find Alex the Intello (Ashby Gentry) and Cole the Mysterious (Noah Lalonde), who will turn the head of Jackie. As in the summer when I became pretty, and other teenagers before her, my life with the Walter Boys relies on a story of a love triangle between a young teenager and two brothers that everything opposes.
Jackie is first seduced by Alex and will even start a relationship with him but she has trouble hiding her feelings for Cole. In the last episode, she even exchanges a kiss with him. But this reversal of a situation pushes her to go back to New York with her uncle. So will Jackie come back to the Walter?
Season 2 of “My life with the Walter Boys” is for very soon!
The success of the first season quickly earned him a second season. But fans had to take their pain in patience. Two years later, the second salvo of episodes of my life with the Walter Boys finally gives a sign of life.
And Netflix subscribers will soon be able to discover the new episodes. The streaming platform has announced that season 2 of my life with the Walter Boys will be available this summer.
It is not yet known if season 2 will be available in July or August but we imagine that Netflix will soon unveil the exact release date. The platform also shared first photos on social networks, where the main heroes sees it.
Netflix also unveiled the synopsis of this season 2, which promises new twists and turns in the love triangle between Jackie, Alex and Cole, before his season 3, already ordered:
“After leaving Silver Falls following Alex's declaration of love and his kiss with Cole, Jackie Howard spends the summer in New York. When Katherine convinces her to return to Colorado, Jackie is determined to buy himself from Alex and set limits with Cole while finding her place in the Walter family.
But reintegrating is not easy. Alex, who has changed a lot this summer, is not delighted with Jackie's attempts to reconnect with her, because he is focused on his training for a risky rodeo (and benefits from all the new attention he receives).
Meanwhile, Cole assumes a new role in school, but when that does not fill the void left by its absence to American football, its old habits are surfaced and cause dramas.
While Jackie is accepted in Silver Falls while trying to keep her Howard identity, she is forced to make a choice that could destroy everything she worked to rebuild. “
