Here are highlights from this year's Tony Awards.
Broadway's biggest night came and went with a song Synthia ErivoWho hosted the 78th Tony Awards at the Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan on Sunday.
“Happy Ending” may collect the six Tony Awards – the best new music of any show. It was also a night of the first Tony victory for many artists: Nicole Sherzinger for the best leading actress in a music for “Sunset Bulleward”; Sara Snow for the best leading actress in a play for “The Picture of Dorian Gray”; “Oh, Mary!” For the best leading actor in a play for Kol Escola; And for the best leading actor for Darren Chris for a “perhaps happy end” in a music.
“Brandon Jacobs-Jenkins' Pulitzer Award winning drama, won the Tony Award for Best Sports; Jonathan Spector's “Eureka Day” won the best play revival; And Jamie Lloyd's “Sunset Bulleward” won the best music revival.
