Tonight as a family: expected by millions of fans for decades, this animated film has not disappointed anyone!

World famous worldwide since the late 1940s, the famous little Lego bricks had to wait until 2015 before being devoted an animated feature film. But the patience of the fans was rewarded.

In the regular world, ordered and perfectly tidy of Bricksville (where “everything is super great”), Emmet is a lambda site worker, whose whole existence is adjusted as a clock.

One day, by accomplishing his daily tasks, he comes across a strange object and begins to have curious visions after having touched him. Would this discovery have a relationship with the mysterious plans of President Business? Would Emmet be the one called “the special”?

The first LEGO film

In the field of entertainment, there are rare marks that have as much strength and popularity as Lego.

Created in the late 1940s by the Danish Ole Kirk Christiansen, these small colored plastic bricks and nested with each other conquered the world of game and toy at a breathtaking speed, soon proposing the name of Lego to dizzying heights.

However, even if the brand has repeatedly renewed by relying on many large and small screen franchises, and even if several Lego video games were born in the mid -2000s, it was not until 2015 (65 years after the creation of the first bricks) to see an animated feature film dedicated to the famous construction game (and now available on max).

Warner Bros.

An incredible and surprising show

But the least we can say is that the wait was worth it. Produced by the Warner Animation studios, directed by the talented Phil Lord and Chris Miller (known for giant meat storm and 21 Jump Street), the great Lego adventure is simply brilliant!

As ingenious and playful as a LEGO box can be, with an absolutely sublime animation, populated by hilarious characters and served by an ultra -efficient scenario, the first feature film dedicated to the famous little bricks concludes above all with an unsuspected theater stroke.

Large spectacularly animated eight, the Lego film is then surprisingly transformed into a metaphysical reflection on the very nature of its subject, and on the intrinsic function of a toy.

Noted 4 in 5 stars by spectators, the great LEGO adventure is a real little nugget, much more ambitious than you might have thought, and that we strongly recommend that you (re) discover with the family on Max.

Warner Bros.
