A new trailer for season 3 of “Squid Game” announces the long-awaited outcome for the most seen series of all time on Netflix.
In two weeks, squid game fans will be able to find the final season of the Netflix program. After the phenomenal success met by the first season in 2021, season 2 of the South Korean series was broadcast in December on the platform. Barely six months later, so the six episodes of the third season will soon be available.
An even darker season 3 than the previous ones?
Season 2 ended in the most dramatic way. Returning to the game to destroy the organization responsible for their creation from the inside, Gi-Hun Seong (Lee Jung-Jae) took the lead of an insurrection made up of players wishing to interrupt the game. After a fierce battle against the pink guards, the rebels were defeated and Gi-Hun's childhood friend was executed before his eyes.
The third season should start where season 2 stopped. The games will resume, to the delight of players who wish to continue and have not joined the insurrection. As for Gi-Hun, it seems morally destroyed by this defeat, but there is no doubt that the Front Man (which is none other than the player 001) will not let it give up so easily.
New clues in season 3?
A new trailer takes stock of the series, retracing the main events of the three seasons. The opportunity for fans to review certain emblematic faces of season 1, and why not sow some clues on the plot of the last six episodes of the program?
This trailer also announces an epic action scene involving player number 120, which is a former member of the special forces. We also see in these unpublished images Kim Jun-Hee (player 222), who could give birth very soon, or the old lady who addresses Gi-Hun to cheer her up.
The final season of Squid Game can be found on June 27 exclusively on Netflix.
