Fans of season 3 of “Squid Game” may be disappointed by the end of the Netflix series, according to the recent declarations of one of its main actors.
In a few days, Netflix will unveil the third and last season of Squid Game, made up of six episodes. This last season which will take place immediately after the second, will therefore bring a conclusion to the most seen series of all time on the platform. But to believe the words of one of its main actors, this final may not answer all questions.
Lee Byung-Hun is the interpreter of Hwang In-Ho, alias the master of the game. The latter appeared only at the bend of a short scene in season 1, but played a role of greatest importance in season 2 by appearing in the guise of player number 001. It is the main antagonist of Squid Game.
Do not wait all the answers in the end of the series!
In an interview with our colleagues TV leisurethe South Korean actor revealed that the third season will not answer all the questions, especially about his character. A part of mystery should therefore be preserved by the finale of the series … perhaps in view of a next spin-off on the master of the game?
“Even if you look at the series until the end, the intentions of the master of the game may not be very clear because it is really an enigmatic character. I think it is the charm of this character”said Lee Byung-Hun during this interview.
Hwang in-ho is the most mysterious character of Squid Game. Former winner, he succeeded Oh-Il Nam-the old man of season 1-to become the new master of the game. He is also tracked down by his half-brother, the policeman Hwang Jun-Ho, whom he seriously injured in the final of the first season.
The six episodes of the third season of Squid Game can be found on June 27 exclusively on Netflix.
