The heroines of “Sex and the City” are back in the third season of the suite “and Just like that …”. What are the next adventures of Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte?
This is one of the most iconic series of the 1990s: she highlighted charismatic and identifiable heroines, she dusted conversations on female sexuality and she created crazy dress obsessions.
Darren Star Sex & The City is still today a series that is seen and welcomed, even if she has taken a stroke of old on certain points. Distributed from 1998 to 2004, this series highlighted four actresses, whose roles still stick to their skin: Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw), Kristin Davis (Charlotte York), Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes) and Kim Cattrall (Samantha Jones).
A little less than twenty years after the end of the series – and two films! -, a sequel, entitled and Just like that …, was born. This new fiction offers an incisive, irreverent and sometimes overwhelming look at love, sex and friendship in New York spent 50 years.
We find there our famous group of women without Kim Cattrall (Samantha) who must face the throes of old age, time passing, weddings that turn into divorces, growing children, social pressures on appearance and success …
Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda have new friends in and Just like that … like Seema (Sarita Choudhury) and Lisa (Nicole Ari Parker). Building on the success of the first season, which was to be a mini-series finally obtained a second season, then a third season, which starts its broadcast today on the Max platform.
