R. Kelly's legal team has filed an emergency proposal Demanding its immediate release from federal custody to detention of the house, claiming that his life is in danger and is accusing the government of misconduct.
In Tuesday's filing, reviewed by DiversityKelly's lawyers claim that they have a clear evidence that authorities killed a prisoner in a federal peninsula in Northern Carolina, where he is serving a 30 -year sentence.
More than diversity
His lawyer announced a swearing -in from Mikel Glenn Stine, who is a sick prisoner, who said that the authorities offered Kelly's freedom in their last days of killing. Stein claimed that she was told that Kelly and her lawyers were planning to highlight harmful information, as the filing alleged that the authorities violated the Attorney-client privilege by stopping personal correspondence. Stein said that the officials told him that he would be accused of killing Kelly, but that evidence would be kept wrongly and there would be no punishment.
Stein, a leader of Aryan Brotherhood, arrived at Kelly's unit last March, and although he was ready to kill him, he had a heart change and instead Kelly said that the bureau of prostal officials directed him to kill him. Kelly's lawyer alleged that in June, he learned about another member of Aryan Brotherhood, directed by officials to kill both Kelly and Stein. They claim that Kelly is in danger as she is in custody with other members of Brotherhood.
“No action is taken that the danger to Shri Kelly's life continues every day,” reads the filing. “More AB members are accumulating in their convenience. More than one has already been contacted about killing her. One of them has not done this by Mr. Stein, which had done the truth about what happened in this case with Robert Kelly.”
Kelly's Attorney, Bu B. Brindle is asking the judge to leave the house for the detention of the house on a temporary furls. Diversity Has reached the US Attorney Office in Chicago for comment.
The singer, whose real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, was initially convicted in nine cases of a superstiting prosecution in September 2021. He was accused of violating the Honor Act and involving sexual abuse of children. In next June, he was sentenced to 30 years in jail. In February 2023, Kelly was sentenced to 20 years in jail for different child sexual offenses, the judge ruled that all but one year would be served concurrently with their last 30 years sentence.
In this last February last, an appeal court upheld Kelly's raccizing and sex trafficking as well as his 30-year prison sentence. The court dismissed his claims that the test evidence was inadequate and the trial judge made unfair decisions.
