After several months of waiting and teasing, Netflix unveiled the first images of Tony Tony Chopper in season 2 of the live action “One Piece”.
Promised thing, thing due. Netflix unveiled during its Live Tudum event a first overview of season 2 of One Piece in Live-Action. Our favorite nakamas are back and they are not alone: they indeed welcome a new member in the person of Tony-Tony Chopper, a reindeer who ate the Hito Hito no Mi, a fruit allowing him to transform into human.
You will all fall for grabbing
All the fans of the manga and the anime imagined by Eiichira Oda wondered what the doctor of the straw hats was going to look like and they will not be disappointed. It was actress Mikaela Hoover who was chosen to lend her voice in English version and we are already cracking.
Luffy and his friends will meet Chopper on the island of Drum, where the latter learns medicine from Dr. Hiluluk and Kureha (Katey Sagal). He first refused to join the crew before being convinced. The character quickly becomes the darling of fans with his humor: he always hides on the wrong side and loves that we brush him in the direction of the hair, as shown in this presentation video.
If Chopper is very adorable in these images, we wait to see it in these other forms: it can indeed be transformed in order to be able to lend a hand to Luffy and his friends.
What awaits us in season 2 of One Piece
It will be necessary to be patient before seeing it in action since Netflix does not plan to put online season 2 of One Piece this year. Bad news for fans who have been waiting for almost 2 years. But the scorer of the writers in Hollywood upset the filming calendar.
Season 2 of One Piece will adapt part of the Alabasta arch in which our heroes go to this desert country prey to an intestine war. It is here that they will meet the terrible crocodile (Joe Manganiello), one of the 7 corsairs and chef of Baroque Works, a criminal company.
Our straw hats will have to face their members one by one, which announces beautiful fights in season 2..
