New Spanish series in the “elite” vein, “Olympo” has everything to be the feeling of the moment on Netflix. The most nostalgic will have spotted an ancient star of “one, back, very”. Have you recognized it?
New Spanish Netflix series, Olympo is the perfect caliente fiction at the start of the summer. Created by Jan Matheu Montserrat, Laia Foguet and Ibai Abad, this drama in 8 episodes reminds the good (or bad) elite memories, which had been cardboard for 8 seasons on the platform.
If Olympo can count on a young charismatic cast, sensual scenes and many twists and turns, its issues are still more exciting than those that Elite provided us at the end of the race.
Because this new Spanish series is centered on the best athletes in the country who train in the center of high performance in the Pyrenees, such as Amaia, the captain of the national synchronized swimming team which requires only the best of itself and allows no error.
But when her teammate and best friend Núria surpasses her for the first time, Amaia realizes that some athletes inexplicably improve their performances … After years pushing their bodies to the limit and sacrificing their life for sport, they are confronted with a dilemma: how far are they ready to go?
A star of “one, back, very” hides in “Olympo”! Have you recognized it?
The success is almost ensured for Olympo thanks in particular to its casting of young talents known to the platform subscribers. We find in particular Clara Galle which has become popular thanks to the trilogy through my window and the series ni una más, but also Agustín della Corte (the Cercle des Neiges).
In addition, Nuno Gallego (EliteA very back: new generation), María Romanillos (Paraíso), Juan Perales (Elite) and Andy Duato (Hit) and Najwa Khliwa (Menudas Piezas) are also in the casting.
But some nostalgic for one, back, very, the famous popular Spanish in the 2000s, may have noticed that a former star of the series was in the cast of Olympo.

Antena 3 / Netflix Fanny Gautier in “Un, back, very” / Fanni Gautier in “Olympo”
It is Fanny Gautier, who embodied Alicia Jauregui, the aunt of Silvia Jauregui (Monica Cruz), who was a former classical dancer who became a professor then director of the Arts and the Carmen Arranz scene.
In Olympo, Fanny Gautier controls other aspects of high -level sports competition since she embodies Yolanda, the director of the Antidopage Control Commission, who arrives from episode 4 in order to do tests and who will investigate the information of Amaia on students who are doped and who hides behind the operation.
The “Olympo” series is available on Netflix.
