Toronto (June 4, 2025)-The National Hockey League Players Association today announced that Nikita Kuucherov of Tampa Bai Lightning has received the vote of players as the 2024-25 TED Lindsay Award recipient. The TLA is presented every year for the “most outstanding player in NHL” by fellow members of NHLPA.
It marks the second Ted Lindsay Award of Kucherov after 2018-19, when he was voted for the Thumost Excellent Player. In 2023-24, Kucherov was also a TLA finalist. Ahead of Makeop, Edigia, Russia, in 2024–25, a league-municipality in 78 regular-season games submitted (37–84–121) to secure its third art Ross Trophy to lead the league in scoring.
He received a League-Agni 84 assistance during the regular season, which became the fourth player in NHL history, with three consecutive 80-assist seasons. Kucherov led the league in per game (1.55), primary aid (56), power-play points (46), power-play assists (38) and finished third in the Sam-Shakti points (75). Kucherov finished second in the Multi-Point Games (33), finished fifth in the game-winning goal (9), finished 13th in goals (37) and finished third among right wingers at average time on ice (21:11).

About Ted Lindsay Award:
The Ted Lindsay Award is unique as only the NHL Awards voted themselves by the players, which in 1970-71 Lester B. The Piercene takes the tradition established with the award. NHLPA members vote annually for the player he asks to be the most dues in the NHL regular season. The award was re-presented in 2009-10 as the name of the late Ted Lindsay, which honors his heritage as the Hockey Hall of Fame forward, which is known for his role in the establishment of the original players in the establishment of the union of the original players as well as skill, penance and leadership.
