Netflix gives news from season 2 of “Berlin”, the series derived from “La Casa de Papel” and be careful, there is a big surprise! Be careful, spoiler.
Attention, spoilers. The following paragraphs reveal a major element of season 2 of “Berlin”.
It is one of the most seen non-English series of all time on Netflix: the Casa de Papel was a real phenomenon between 2017 and 2021. After this tidal wave from Spain, the platform capitalized with a spin-off centered on one of the emblematic characters.
Pedro Alonso has resumed his role as Berlin for a prequel series, in which the character is a robber in full glory. He brings together talented team members in Paris to carry out one of his most ambitious projects: steal 44 million euros in jewelry, overnight.
The Berlin derivative series was a huge success when it was released in 2024, becoming the 10th non -English -speaking series the most seen of all time on Netflix. The platform was quick to renew it for a second season, which fans are looking forward to.
A big surprise in sight in season 2 of “Berlin” which should appeal to fans of “La Casa de Papel”
Netflix has just given crisp news on this second salvo of Berlin episodes, which promises surprises. The robber will go towards new adventures, surely made of love, breakage and twists and turns. After the flight of jewelry worth 44 million euros in Paris, where will Berlin fly away?
At the end of the first season, it was assumed that Berlin was surely going to find his acolyte Damián (Tristán Ulloa) for a new breakage. Especially since at the end of the first season of the series, the two friends planned to leave for a tour, considering themselves ready for a new robbery.
Above all, Berlin left his heart open to reunion with Camille (Samantha Siqueiros). So will he find her as planned? Netflix does not yet give an index on this subject but the platform has just confirmed that other reunion was planned for Berlin … and his brother!
Indeed, Berlin will see another very popular character from Casa de Papel: namely his half-brother Sergio Marquina, alias the professor (Álvaro dead), which is possible since the Berlin series is a prequel of the Casa de Papel.
Netflix shared a photo in which we see the two actors shooting a sequence in a swimming pool. The American giant therefore confirms a special appearance of a dead Álvaro, and therefore of the professor in season 2 of Berlin.
