Neither Virgin River, nor Grey's Anatomy: TF1 unveils its new series with Natacha Lindinger by HPI producers

TF1 has just launched the shooting of “Ceylon”, a new dramatic series carried by Natacha Lindinger, which should delight fans of medical and great air. We tell you everything!

The shooting season has started for the next TF1 event fictions. And after having announced Alter Ego, a series carried by Eric Cantona and Bruno Sanches and a (almost) perfect crime with Claire Keim and Clémence Lassalas, the front page has just unveiled the casting and the synopsis of Ceylon, his next medical series led by Natacha Lindinger (SAM) and Alice Pol (Dingue Raid).

Between Grey's Anatomy and Virgin River

In this series in 6 episodes, created and written by Camélia Acef and Mathilde Pol, Natacha Lindinger will lend her features to Louise Ceylon, a renowned neurosurgeon who will find herself suspended after committing a medical error on the day of the death of her father.

When she thought she had left the region forever, she returned to her native village in a lost corner of Vaucluse.

On the spot, between goats, campaign emergencies and a paternal medical office abandoned, she decides to resume the torch … clandestinely. To support her, she can count on Cindy, played by Alice Pol, a local nurse as barred as Atacher.

Equipped with her sarcasm and her perfectionism, Louise will have to relearn to treat differently. No more ultra-equipped blocks: here, each consultation is an emergency, each patient a challenge, and every day a lesson in humility.

Between clashs, resourceful, reunion, field medicine and improbable situations, Louise discovers that there is another way of exercising, closer, more human … and that in the footsteps of her father, she could well restore meaning to her life.

A series by HPI producers

It was in Drôme that the Productions itinerary teams, the studio already behind HPI, posed the cameras to film this new series which promises us breathtaking landscapes.

Made by Cathy Verney and Edouard Deluc, the casting of Ceylon also includes Eric Pucheu (Vortex), Xavier Robic, Ariane Mourier, Mayel Elhajaoui (Tomorrow belongs to us) and Frédéric Bouraly (household scenes). The series should arrive in the coming months on TF1.
