Season 2 of “Fubar”, carried by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Carrie-Ann Moss, makes a more shy entry into the weekly ranking of the English-speaking series of Netflix, displaying a sharp drop in audience.
Fubar is the name of the Netflix series by Arnold Schwarzenegger but it is also the acronym for an expression of military slang: “Fucked up beyond all recognition“, translate by”Fucked up beyond all recognition“And this is clearly what is happening in season 2 which has just landed on Netflix.
In view of the audience figures that have just fallen, it seems that the public has other priorities in streaming.
An impressive drop for Fubar
Season 2 generated around 2.2 million views during its first weekend after its release on June 12, and therefore on its first four days, thus ranking 10th place in the weekly Netflix ranking of the Top 10 English language series.
This is a considerable decline compared to the first season, which had recorded around 11 million views during its first weekend in May 2023. And this therefore corresponds to a free fall of 80% compared to the launch of the series. The arrival of Carrie-Anne Moss against Schwarzy will therefore not have been enough to bring people back to the world.

A season 3 for Fubar?
The series, which combines family drama and explosive espionage intrigues, first seduced subscribers thanks to its story featuring a father and daughter agents of the CIA. However, after a successful first season, his return has trouble retaining the public and now arouses questions about his future on the platform.
This result reminds us that even the intense charm and involvement of Arnold Schwarzenegger, or a larger budget, cannot guarantee success without a solid intrigue and successful action scenes. Whether Fubar gets a third season or disappear from the Netflix catalog, it is clear that this espionage comedy must evolve if it wants to survive.
