The Meriners finally returned to the victory column last night, thanking one of the most full sports, since he played as a team … the opening game of the series against Washington, when they won 9–1. If you are having half-to—up this glass, Meriners then lost 11 of their next 14 matches, so it would have been better to win another close victory. But if you are looking at this glass half-hearted, George Kirbi takes the mound after his best outing of the season tonight, which is a fourteen-stroke-out performance against Angels.
