Wasco County, Ore. (KPTV) -I-84 west side was reported to have a forest fire in the gorge of the Colombia river on Wednesday afternoon near MilePost 78.
Level 3 Go Now expansion of proximity was expanded from Rovena River Ferry Road to River Road, Seven Mile Hill Road to Mountain View Drive, South to Chenovith Creek Road, Brown Creek Road East to West 7th Street.
A level 2 set withdrawal notice was expanded from Snips West to Chenovath Loop Road, Chenovith Creek Road to Brown Creek Road.
Equivalent orders prepared for the port 1 Dells port area were issued.

I-84 and Highway 30 Rowena to Milepost 82 are closed. Drivers have to use alternative routes.
By 2:15 pm, the fire was responding to the Oregon Department of Forestry, US One Service and local Agni district on 20 acres. The fire is about 2.5 miles from the dles. There were 10 engines, one hand crew, two air tankers, a helicopter and two water tenders were answering.
The Gloria Center on 2505 West 7th Street in Dells will be open as a temporary shelter till 8 pm on Wednesday.
Dells Middle School, located on 1100 East 12th Street in Dells, will be open as a temporary shelter at 4:30 pm.
The Vasco County Sheriff Office also reported a level 2 “B set” withdrawal for Discovery Road for 5500 HWY 30.
A Second fire towards Washington of River HWY 14 has been closed effectively, stopping the East/West Travel in Columbia Gorge.
