The killer tomatoes are back! The Z -series movies franchise is preparing to welcome a youngest: “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Organic Intelligence”. Prepare for an epic fight!
The attack on killer tomatoes is reborn with a fifth film, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Organic Intelligence (or the attack of killer tomatoes: organic intelligence in French), by director David Ferino. As Deadline announced, the new film is presented as “A confrontation between the eternal power of nature and the most brilliant geniuses of AI”.
The original film was released in 1978. Directed for 100,000 dollars, it was produced by J. Stephen Peace and John de Bello. De Bello made the film from an original idea by Costa Dillon. The feature tells the story of mutant killing tomatoes that torment the world while a group of scientists tries to repel them. Dillon and Peace are the writers and producers of the new film. Executive producers and scriptwriters.
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Organic Intelligence will stage a string of actors, including David Koechner (the featured presenter franchise) in the role of the American president's press secretary, and John Astin (Gomez of the series The Addams family) who will resume his role from Professor Nicholas Mortimer Gangreen which he interpreted in the previous films of the franchise and in the animated series of Fox. We will also find Dan Bakkedahl (VEEP) in the role of the essential Wilbur Finletter, Daniel Roebuck (the fugitive, Lost, final destination) in the role of the admiral overwhelmed by 50 years of burial of the truth, Catherine Corcoran (terrifying) in the role of the first victim of carnage, a prince Bates (a prince in New York) “Expert in disguise” somewhat wacky, and Vernee Watson (the prince of Bel-Air) in the role of a technology specialist whose land-to-terre instinct is at the heart of the “tomato guards” team.
Eric Roberts, appointed to the Oscars for Runaway Train, will also play there alongside Myrna Velasco (Star Wars Resistance) and Noor Razooky (The Old Man). Zachary Roozen (Romeo and Juliette Killers) will resume the role of Chad, initially embodied by Anthony Starke, who gave the reply to George Clooney in the return of killer tomatoes (1988). Many other actors have been announced as part of the project.
David Ferino (Wardcliffe) was chosen to make the film by executive and scriptwriters Dillon and Peace.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Organic Intelligence should go out in theaters in a limited way, around Halloween.
