The two legends of action cinema Jackie Chan and Arnold Schwarzenegger shared the adventure of this feature film released in 2004.
It is the meeting of two sacred monsters of action cinema, but almost everyone has forgotten it! Who could have imagined that Jackie Chan and Arnold Schwarzenegger would one day share the poster of the same film? This completely crazy project was born in 2004, thanks to the adaptation of the novel Le Tour du Monde in 80 days.
In this Hollywood blockbuster very freely inspired by Jules Verne's book, Jackie Chan lends her Passepartout features, the valet of the brilliant inventor Phileas Fogg (as for him embodied by Steve Coogan). The distribution of the film also includes Cécile de France (in the role of Monique de Roche), as well as Michaël Youn or … Arnold Schwarzenegger in the role of Prince Hapi.
Fifteen years later, they shot another adventure film!
This role is the last that the former bodybuilder embodied before starting his two mandates of Governor of California (from 2003 to 2011). However, this is only a short wink appearance, the time of a simple scene.

A cameo that could have gone unnoticed, if he had not brought together these two cinema legends on the screen (note, however, that they never appear together on the screen, which suggests that their scenes have been shot separately).
About fifteen years later, the road to Jackie Chan and Arnold Schwarzenegger again crossed. The two superstars were indeed the headliner of another adventure film entitled La Légende du Dragon, a Sino-Russian co-production having been entitled in France only a direct exit on DVD and VOD.
The film Le Tour du Monde in 80 days bringing together – for a scene – Jackie Chan and Arnold Schwarzenegger will leave the Netflix catalog from June 15.
