Back in 1986, when Jean-Pierre Bacri was expressed on “the fragility of the actors” at the microphone of the Cinemagic program on France 3.
Disappeared in 2021 at the age of 69, Jean-Pierre Bacri is sorely lacking in French cinema and millions of spectators, nostalgic for his exceptional talent, of his inimitable temperament, but also of his famous outspokenness.
We obviously remember his memorable performances in a family air, the taste of others, Didier or the sense of the party. But if you want to draw a full portrait of your uncompromising personality, impossible to ignore your many televised rants, on your frank and trenched positions, on its formidable punchlines in interview.
“I'm not saying that the actor is fragile”
Whether we talk about his ironic intervention and committed to the César or his little crop of the public in the show by Christine Bravo, there is no shortage of examples.
In 1986, when he was expressed at the microphone of the program Cinemagic (on France 3) and that he was led to evoke various subjects, Jean-Pierre Bacri offered us one of his famous little sentences, as sharp as it is sincere, as for the actors and their alleged “fragility” ::
“I am not saying that the actor is fragile. In any case, for my part, I am not a madman furious at the fragility of the actors, I will not defend you that”he said in an in an archive video of the INAprobably alluding to the moods that are a little too expansive of some of his counterparts.

“I don't be very interested in me”
“The fragility of the actors would rather tend to inflate me, personally. Because I find that indeed, we choose what we do. As François Cluzet often says, that's it or the factory. So, you still have to be honest, it is better than the factory. So the fragile actors who arise problems that do not exist, apart from that it is a new way to show off, I'm not interested. “
During the same interview, placed under the sign of sincerity, Bacri also defended the humanitarian commitments of the actors (“This is a form of putserry that I like”) Before concluding by speaking of his own authenticity:
“You can ask me everything you want as an actor, but everything else, when it's photos, interviews, you have to ask me for myself, because I don't know how to do something else. So I'm not a very good customer for certain newspapers.”
