Did you know? Stranger Eyes is a fairly old project in the career of its director, Siew Hua Yeo. Indeed, the first version of the scenario dates from 2012. However, due to numerous obstacles, notably financial, the director put the film aside and made the imaginary expanses (2018), for which he received the Golden Leopard at the Locarno Festival. Following this coronation, Siew Hua Yeo carried out important rewritings of his scenario.
