Did you know? In the casting of the French voices of the film, we find Jamy Gourmaud, famous scientific journalist who made himself known by presenting the program It's not rocket science. If he has already made some appearances on television and cinema (protect & serve as Eric Lavaine), it is the first time that he tried to exercise dubbing.

What is it talking about? Enzo, 16, is an apprentice mason at La Ciotat. Pressed by his father who saw him do higher studies, the young man seeks to escape the comfortable but stifling setting of the family villa. It is on the construction sites, in contact with Vlad, a Ukrainian colleague, that inzo will see a new horizon.
Did you know? This is the latest film by Laurent Cantet (Palme d'Or for between the Murs, 2008). Died in 2024 from a disease, he co-wrote it with his longtime friend and collaborator, Robin Campillo (120 beats per minute). Unable to ensure the realization of this final feature film because of his state of health, Laurent Cantet finally asked his filmmaker to deal with it.

What is it talking about? A loss of speed, Stéphane arrives with his troop at the Avignon festival to play a boulevard piece. There he meets Fanny, a renowned actress, and falls under her spell. Taking advantage of a misunderstanding to get closer to her, Stéphane sinks into a lie that he will have to make the time of the festival last … but which will very quickly exceed it!
Did you know? Avignon is inspired by the experience of the screenwriter, director and actor Johann Dionnet, and more specifically of all the pieces played during several epic Avignon festivals where he had the impression of living a thousand lives for a month. He remembers:
“All of this gave me the idea of a short film (I play Rodrigue) that I wrote in 2019 and which today becomes a long time. Ported by the desire to pay tribute, through a film, at the performing arts, I continued my research steps from producers until Nolita Cinema follows me in the adventure.”

Did you know? The idea of the film was born from the friendship between Nabil Aitakkaouali and Olivier Dacourt, who have known each other for over twenty years. Nabil proposed several ideas to Olivier, including that of the Papa road. The latter immediately agreed to commit, touched by the duty of memory and by the desire to tell this story “from the inside”, rarely shown in the cinema.
