“I would like to adapt it one day to the cinema”: Raphael Quenard's first novel could become a film!

Rich news for Raphaël Quenard. Currently filming the new comedy by Anthony Marciano on 2 French NBA stars agents, and in full promotion of his first novel, the very coveted actor of the moment could adapt his book.

After opening the Cannes Film Festival a year ago with the second act of Quentin Dupieux, Raphaël Quenard is again in the fire of news. A cinema news, but also literary, with a first novel!

A few days ago, Raphaël Quenard returned to the Cannes Film Festival to unveil a co -ellelization, entitled I Love Peru. Present in the Cannes Classics section, the Cesarized actor engages in it intimately. He recounts his race for success and his internal questions with the Bagou that we know him before embarking on a spiritual quest that brings him to Peru in search of a condor.

With around thirty roles in five years, Raphaël Queard has become an essential and popular player with the public.

In recent days, he has also unveiled another string to his bow: the writing of a first novel, “Clamser in Tataouine”.

As his publisher presents, Flammarion, in this first novel, Raphaël Quenard gives life to a diabolically perverse psychopath marginal, provocative and gouailter, and leads the reader in a macabre epic mixed with very creaky black humor. With a style as electric as inventive, Raphaël Quenard dissects the sick brain of a modern monster and stages the whole gallery of characters around him.

Surprise, this first novel whose subject has reacted a loteven arousing an editorial of liberation, could become a film.

Questioned by Madame Figaro Raphaël Quenard talks about his news, and the possibility of an adaptatio. “”Jhe is currently running the new film by Anthony Marciano (Play), with Jean-Pascal Zadi, out of two French NBA stars, the American basketball elite. Next year, I will attack Johnny, by Cédric Jimenez. But before that, I focus on the release of my film and that of my novel, which I would like to adapt one day to the cinema“.

Until then, I Love Peru will be released in theaters on July 9.
