Hollywood arrives on encounter and makes a stop in YMCA

Anchrego, Alaska (KTUU) – It has been wrapped in wrapped for weeks, but an ankorezer confirmed that a Hollywood film was being shot in Alaska, in which many special places are in and around the Encourage.

The manufacturer (who asked to keep anonymity) said that he is not in freedom to divide more information, but he said that there were a lot of darshans of Stars Dakota fanning and Jake Johnson around the city, including people who shoot scenes with the pair.

“She was Super Nice,” YMCA of Alaska Athletic director Jim Young asked to meet fanning. “She came in, and I was so, 'Hey, welcome to Alaska!” He said, 'I am happy that you are coming here, you have a beautiful situation.'

“This super cool was to meet him,” Young said, “and then lead actor, Jake Johnson, I think he is still in a lot of local sitcom. He was Super, Super Nice.”

Despite being in a scene with Johnson, Young said the producers have told him very little about the film.

“A lot this is just a fantest stuff,” he said. “I don't even know the name of the film.”

Young knows that he was contacted several weeks ago to use the gym in YMCA on the Lake Otis to shoot a basketball scene for the film.

Young also arranged for YMCA's two girls teams to become players in the film.

Erin Zaikari's 10 -year -old daughter, Makayala, was one of the specially displayed athletes. Zaikari said that girls and their parents were excited about the possibility of being in a film, although none of them knew what to expect.

“He was not sure what was about the film too,” he said. “They were just instructed,” Okay, now we want you guys to do this, and then we are going to start here. “

He said that the whole thing was the experience of learning.

“One of the things that come out of this experience is very much appreciated to go to make just one film,” Zaikari said. “We filmed both Saturday and Sunday for more than 10 hours, which may be three minutes, maybe, in the film.

YMCA was not the only place where the types of film were revealed. Re would not confirm that the store was a scene of filming, but many Extra said that his scenes were shot. The Arctic Roadarner on Old Sevard also has pictures of artists and crew.

Young said he is not surprised that many of those things are being kept secret for now, but they are proud to share a little part of their experience with the world.

“How many times should you be shot in Alaska?” He said. “So, to be a place for us, and to be able to share our gym with a film in Alaska, was unprecedented.”
