The interpreter of Jamie Dutton in the Western series became known in the early 2000s, thanks in particular to the American Beauty film. Very quickly coveted by the major Hollywood studios-to the point of having been offered the role of Spider-Man in the sam raimi trilogy, which he refused-the American actor quickly fell into the drug trap.

Heath Ledger himself died in 2008 from an overdose of drugs. The memory of his missing friend remained in the memory of Wes Bentley during his detoxification cures, and helped him stay on the right path since 2009.
