In the last minutes of the final episode of season 21 of “Grey's Anatomy”, several doctors find themselves in a precarious situation following an explosion in the hospital.

This Wednesday, June 25, TF1 broadcasts the last two episodes of season 21 of Grey's Anatomy. And as it is customary in the medical series, it is by an explosive end that the adventures of your favorite doctors concludes.
A doctor between life and death
In the last episode, some doctors of the Gray Sloan Memorial are retained hostage by the mother of a patient, played for the occasion by Piper Perabo (Coyote Girls). Determined to cure her daughter, the latter put a pressure on the caregivers by threatening them to burst a candy containing a very dangerous and flammable gas …
Miraculously, the involved doctors succeed in the operation, and the patient's mother is getting out of harm. The teams then note that the cylinder was actually empty … Unfortunately, in the last minutes of the episode, our heroes realize that this desperate mother has in fact left the gas escaping inadvertently.
An explosion then occurs within the hospital, leaving the life of many emblematic characters pending, and more particularly that of Link (Chris Carmack).
The doctor was preparing to make an intervention in the room in which the hostage -taking took place. Will Link lose his life following this explosion? Are other doctors in danger? Meg Marinis, the fiction show, gave a very mysterious answer to these questions.

In an interview with Deadlinethe showrunner said that putting Link in such a situation was wanted. Jo and he are indeed in a bubble of happiness since their marriage and they are “completely unconscious what is going on around”.
