Did you know that the production of everything for light has changed everything along the way? We explain everything to you!
Everything for light is finally available on TF1! After long months of waiting, the new event series may well have you dance and sing this summer. And precisely, speaking of music, did you know that the majority of songs are recorded live?
Martin Berléand, director of production entrusts to the microphone of Allociné: “”They sing live and they really play live. We obviously have some additions which are made in post-Prod, but it is much rarer. We have the two possibilities. Sometimes there are some who have an extinction of voice and in these cases, we make play-back. “
He continues: “”We had asked this question a lot in preparation and we did not know if it was better to make them sing in live or in play-back. At the start, we went on the principle that we would only do play-back. “
“It was more complicated to make them do play-back”
“In fact, it turned out that it was more complicated to play play-back than to live, because we have a cast of actors who really know how to sing and who, even in terms of play energy, prefer to sing only to have play-back.”
“”This even facilitates filming in relation to sound taking because it makes it less complex. With the post-Prod, we arrive at a result that is really top ” he reveals before adding: “”Everything has also been recorded in pros studios in Paris or Marseille with our actors. “
“There, it's really sound recording, but that we use a lot. ILYA a whole musical project. There are pieces that have been recorded, which will come out as the diffusion progresses. There was a very important musical work depending on the actors who was done by Santi. “
For his part, Clément Massy, who interprets the character of Eden, reveals to us that he had no idea that he was recorded when he sang wrote the story of Grégory Lemarchal:
“For the anecdote, we had made all the catches and then they said to me:” Here, we do not put the instrumental band, do it like that “but they had not told me that they were filming me.”
“It's important to have something raw that shows that it is authentic”
“So I did my thing, as Eden would have done, and that's what they kept. It is important, I think, for the daily newspaper to have a raw thing that shows that it is authentic” he concludes with enthusiasm.
