At La Ciotat, several people converge on the Light studio: Solenn warns her sister Élise not to stick her, and each lead her life on her side; While Eden and Mohamed meet and greet each other. They notice Noah, a few meters away, who boasts in front of other students to be so gifted that he begged him to re -register. While students get to know Tess's arrival, an influencer followed by a million subscribers, does not go unnoticed.
The deputy director of the studio, Justine, arrives on the threshold of the studio and welcomes students. She presents Joël to them, writing and composition coach. It is in this place that students will take singing, dance and composition lessons. At the end of this cycle, a student will be chosen to sign a contract with a record company.
While they have to wait before entering, students take the opportunity to push the song. Mohamed resumes I will go where you will go by Céline Dion, accompanied by Eden on the guitar. It was not long before being joined by Maddie and Noah, followed by Sultana, Jacob, Solenn, Tess and Iris, who take up the chorus.
Meanwhile, Joël and Justine are inside the studio and are surprised by the absence of Florence, the director of the establishment. The first, who is also her husband, says that she has already gone to wake up. At the same time, Florence arrives, but Joël and Justine's concern persists because she seems to be in a second state. Once on the stairs, she falls in front of them.

Difficult family reunion
In Avignon, Victoria and Max reprimand their daughter Baya, excluded for three days from her high school for organizing her birthday party. But the teenager does not regret because she had a lot of fun in the presence of all her comrades. While Max must go to the college where he teaches, mother and daughter find herself head-to-head, and Victoria is delighted to be able to spend time with her daughter, to the chagrin of her who welcomed her exclusion as a welcome vacation. They are interrupted by a phone call, and Victoria's face darkens as soon as she sees on her phone the name of her interlocutor, Éric.
In the dance hall of the Light studio, Solenn and Maddie evoke the accident that the director and singing coach had. The two young women make fun of Noah, who stretches in leotard. According to Solenn, he dresses like that to stand out and compensate because he is zero in dance. Maddie admits to Noah that he never took dance lessons. He tries to scare her by warning her that the dance teacher is very hard and demanding, to the point of having made students cry in the previous cycle.
In the hospital, Victoria and Baya are at the bedside of Florence. She is none other than Victoria's mother, whom she has not seen for 20 years. Baya wonders about the reasons for their quarrel. The doctor arrives and announces that Florence has a head trauma following her fall, a consequence of discomfort caused by a morphine overdose that she injected herself. For the caregiver, it is an attempted suicide.
During the dance, Maddie had badly to follow but the professor, Marina, reassures her. Noah continues to want to destabilize his comrade, but Solenn intervenes and offers to train with her. By discussing, Noah and Maddie discover that they will be roommates. It is Solenn's father, Éric, who praises them the house.
The comet
Baya and Victoria are precisely on the way to Eric's bar, the comet. Victoria had also cut the bridges with him twenty years ago, but wishes to thank him for his phone call. On the way, Baya sees the studio and wishes to see this place which counted so much for her mother, but Victoria refuses.
Hadrien, the son of Eric and engineer Son at the studio, recognizes the latter and presents himself to her. He was very a fan of her and looked in her clip in a loop when he was a child. Faced with this enthusiasm, Victoria is uncomfortable that her past is reminded. Baya does not understand why her mother minimizes the success she had younger. Victoria camps on her positions: music is a ruthless environment according to her, and withdrawing was the best decision of her life.
In the bar is Élise, one of the students of the studio and daughter of Eric, as well as Justine. It approaches Victoria and presents itself. She recognized it thanks to photos that Florence has in her office. The deputy director teaches her that the establishment encounters major financial difficulties, and is even close to bankruptcy. The school has recorded fewer registrations, and since his departure, no student has met as important as that of Victoria.
Eric arrives in his bar, and warmly welcomes Victoria. She explains to him having become a child psychiatrist in a hospital in Avignon, married and has a daughter of sixteen. Eric, for his part, transformed the bar thanks to work, and has three children (Solenn, Hadrien and Élise). He informs her that there are things she has to learn about her mother, but not from him. He encourages him to go see Joël, who became his mother's husband.

Meanwhile, Baya is waiting for her mother outside the bar. She approaches Eden and Mohamed, who are in front of school. The teenage girl clumsily Eden, then convinces the boys to show her the interior of the studio. Victoria in turn crosses, with emotion, the doors of the school, while Solenn resumes Salty popcorn from Santa to the piano. On the beach, Maddie and Noah repeat with Solenn when Elise arrives. Reluctantly, Solenn accepts that her sister joins them but the latter is mistaken at the start of the choreography. Solenn offers to go and explain to Maddie that it is her sister and that she has obsessive compulsive disorders (OCD), which she can calm with breathing exercises.
Trapped
In the studio, Eden resumes Write history From Grégory Lemarchal to the piano, in front of a Baya who devours him with his eyes. Baya tells her that she loves music but that it is a taboo subject in her family. He encourages him to sing in front of him and gives him advice, while Victoria seeks in the corridors of the establishment his daughter.
While Baya tries a physical rapprochement with Eden, the fire alarm sounds. They find themselves trapped by the flames, which block the exit. Victoria discovers that her daughter is trapped in the room. Hadrien tries to turn off the fire with a fire extinguisher, in vain. He enjoined Victoria to go out but she refuses and rushes into the room, determined to save her daughter despite the flames and smoke. When she arrives, Baya is unconscious in the arms of Eden.
