Mr Wolff 2 makes a surprise arrival on Prime, this Thursday, June 5! Ben Affleck takes over service, alongside Jon Bernthal, Cynthia Addai-Robinson and JK Simmons.
What is it talking about?
Christian Wolff (Affleck) has a talent for solving complex problems. When an old acquaintance is murdered, leaving behind a cryptic message asking to “find the accountant”, Wolff feels obliged to elucidate the case. Understanding that he must take extreme measures, he calls on his brother Brax (Bernthal), a dangerous man with whom he is cold, to help him.
In collaboration with Marybeth Medina (Addai-Robinson), assistant director of the American Treasury, they discover a deadly conspiracy and become the target of a ruthless network of killers ready to do anything to protect their secrets.

We are in 2016 when Mr Wolff (The accountant in VO) leaves on our screens. Gavin O'Connor offers a meticulous action film that held spectators in suspense. Ben Affleck has fun in the role of an accountant suffering from a form of autism that learned to use his excellent memory wisely. His character is also an expert in Pentjak Silat, a martial art notably used in the saga The Raid.
With a budget of $ 44 million, it earns almost double revenue on American soil and more than 155 million green tickets worldwide. A nice success that opens the way to a suite, almost 10 years later.
Meanwhile, the Warner resells the rights to Amazon MGM Studios for the modest sum of $ 10 million. The shooting begins in 2024 for a launch scheduled the following year. After a cinema outing in the United States last April, Mr Wolff 2 is offered directly in streaming on Prime Video on other territories, including France.

Thought as the second film of a trilogy, Mr Wolff 2 should attract en masse the spectators to the video premium in search of a good action film, tinged with humor. And if you haven't seen the first part, don't panic. The latter has recently been available on the platform.
