A few years ago, Denzel Washington gave a precious advice to this young actor in order to protect him, and he always follows him scrupulously

Sometimes, advice given by an experienced actor can really help a career. And when he comes from Denzel Washington, he is obviously followed.

With his experience and talent which is no longer to prove, it is certain that a advice given to another actor by Denzel Washington is worth all the gold in the world. Also, when he shared one of his principles of life with actor Michael B. Jordan (Creed, Black Panther, Sinners), the latter executed.

At the microphone of VultureJordan shared what Denzel had entrusted to him, from actor to actor:

Discretion above all

“Why would they pay to see you during the weekend if they saw you all week for free?”

In other words, be discreet about your private life. A sentence struck by the seal of common sense, and which really takes its entire dimension in the era of social networks and public sharing of private life pushed to its climax. The stars do not escape it, and their over -media coverage can sometimes lead to a certain wear of the public. We no longer count the stars that we have the feeling of “seeing everywhere” and which we lose interest in this.

Michael B. Jordan seems to have followed the advice to the letter: he did not open an account Instagram that from October 2022, to ensure the promotion of Creed III, the third episode of the Boxer son of Apollo Creed in Rocky, which was also his first feature film as director. Since then, we only see him posting promotional works, advertisements in which he appears and very recently a lot of sharing on Sinners, his new film with his favorite director Ryan Coogler.

Denzel and networks

For his part, Denzel Washington has had a Twitter/X account since 2017 but which he abandoned in 2020. He is present on Instagram Since November 2018 but very rarely posts (his latest post dates from April 2024. The Oscar -winning actor for Training Day and Glory therefore follows exactly the example he gave to Michael B. Jordan, who clearly follows his mentor.

The two actors had already worked together on the unknown a newspaper for Jordan directed by Washington and played by Jordan, but they have never gave themselves the reply to the cinema. Maybe it will happen soon?

In the meantime, Michael B. Jordan is still on the poster (and twice) of Sinners, and Washington will soon be playing Highest 2 Lowest, a modernized remake of between the sky and the hell of Akira Kurosawa, which will be released on September 5 on Apple TV+.
